Welcome to the 2008 edition of the all new Talisman, Cooper's high school yearbook. Last year was an exciting year as we moved to a full color yearbook which included a supplemental digital CD. A concerted effort for the 2008 yearbook will be to increase and expand coverage of more students by including additional features, sidebars, and candid photos

A big change last year incorporated a digital CD that chronicled all of the year's events that could not be included in the printed book either because of space or publication deadlines. Spring senior coverage included graduation with the publication of every senior's photo as he/she walked across the stage and received his/her diploma. Over 60 video clips of graduation, fine arts, the school musical, and athletics were included as well. The digital CD may only be obtained through the regular purchase of the printed yearbook with no extra charge for the CD itself.

The yearbook order deadline has been extended until the third week in January!

One of the saddest jobs that I as the yearbook adviser had to do last year was to tell students and parents that we had no extra books to sell at the time of book distribution in May. The cost of the book prohibits purchasing extras with the hope that those extra books will be sold, so don't delay in the purchase of the 2008 book. Please don't be left out for your book of memories of your high school year. The last date to order has been extended until the third week of January. 1. Order and pay with a check or cash ($56.00) from one of our yearbook staff members or bring payment to the Talisman office in the LRC.

2. Pay with a credit card through Taylor Publishing's online E-commerce site. Click on the following link to order and pay for the Talisman yearbook online. (The use of a credit card will incur an additional $1.75 transaction fee added to the original cost of the book)

When ordering a yearbook, the order may be personalized by adding an engraved nameplate and up to two activities for an additional charge. The nameplate may be attached to the yearbook to give a classic look and personalization. One line of the student's name engraved on the nameplate will cost $6.00. Each additional activity engraved on the nameplate will cost an additional $6.00. Listed below are examples of the nameplate and activities that may be added to the yearbook order.
