Welcome to the 2011 edition of the Talisman, Cooper's high school yearbook. The last few years have been exciting as we continue to improve our total coverage of students and school activities. The all color book will continue for the 2011 yearbook and we hope to increase and expand coverage of more students and events by including additional features, sidebars, and candid photos for this 50 year anniversary yearbook.
Two opportunities will exist to make sure that seniors and the student body will have an opportunity to reserve a special place in the yearbook that is not usually covered in the copy and spreads. Seniors will continue to have a Senior Notes section that parents can purchase and can post photos and write special words expressing their pride and love for their son or daughter.
The basic cost of the yearbook has increased again for the 2010-2011 school year. In order to try to keep the cost down, we are offering a discount for early bird purchases of the yearbook. We will be able to earn interest on that money to help make up for the difference in increased costs. For every high school student, it will be advantageous to purchase a book early in the fall. The full length 50 year video will be over an hour and a half and include many groups and eras of Cooper's past and past traditions. The cost of the full DVD alone by itself is $15 or purchase a 2011 Talisman and the DVD will be included in purchase price. The cost of the yearbook prohibits us from purchasing very many extras with the hope that those extra books will be sold, so don't delay in the purchase of the 2011 book. Don't be left out for your book of memories of your high school year.

One may purchase a yearbook by one of the following ways:
1. Order early ($55.00 in September, October, or November) and purchase a Talisman yearbook with a check or cash in the Talisman yearbook office in the LRC or at any other time from August to January.
2. Pay with a credit card through Taylor Publishing's online E-commerce site. All credit card purchases will be $60.00 regardless of the time of purchase. Click on the following link to order and pay for the Talisman yearbook online. (The use of a credit card will incur an additional $1.85 transaction fee added to the original cost of the book) At the My Year Site, Choose State, City, and School to go to Cooper's ordering page for online credit card orders.
3. Place a yearbook on layaway with $25.00 down and complete the payment before May 1st. The total cost of the layaway book depends upon the cost of the book in the month total payment is completed. The total cost of the layaway payment completed in September - November is $55.00. Total payment completed in December will be $60.00 and payment completed in January - May is $65.00.
| When ordering a yearbook, the order may be personalized by adding an engraved nameplate and up to two activities for an additional charge. The nameplate may be attached to the yearbook to give a classic look and personalization. One line of the student's name engraved on the nameplate will cost $7.00. Each additional activity engraved on the nameplate will cost an additional $7.00. Listed below are examples of the nameplate and activities that may be added to the yearbook order. | |||||||
